Introduction

Welcome to RapDuo (rapduo.app), a service that turns two photos into a short AI-generated rap duet video. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information Collection and Use

1. Account Information

   • What We Collect: Your name, email address and profile picture as provided by your sign-in provider (for example Google).
   • Purpose: To create and manage your account, track your credits and provide support.

2. Uploaded Photos

   • What We Collect: The photos you upload to generate a video.
   • Purpose: Solely to render the video you requested. Photos are sent to our AI video provider for processing and stored on our servers so you can re-run or review your task. We never publish, sell or use your photos to train models. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

3. Generated Videos

   • What We Collect: The videos produced for you and the settings used to produce them.
   • Purpose: To show them in your task history and let you download them. Generated videos are yours to keep and post.

4. Usage Details

   • What We Collect: Which features you use, how often, and whether tasks succeed or fail.
   • Purpose: To fix problems, improve result quality and refund credits for failed renders.

5. Device Information

   • What We Collect: Device type, operating system, browser type and approximate location derived from your IP address.
   • Purpose: To keep the service working on different devices and to detect abuse.

6. Cookies

   • What We Collect: Small data files that keep you signed in and remember your preferences.
   • Purpose: Sign-in sessions, preferences and anonymous analytics.

7. Payment and Billing Information

   • What We Collect: Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive the transaction status, the amount and the last four digits of your card; we never store full card numbers.
   • Purpose: To sell credits and subscriptions and to handle refunds.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on cloud infrastructure with access controls and encryption in transit. Uploaded photos and generated videos are stored on object storage with unguessable URLs. We retain uploaded photos and generated videos for up to 90 days unless you delete them earlier, and account data for as long as your account exists.

Third-Party Services

To provide the service we share limited data with:

• an AI video generation provider, which receives your uploaded photos and the template to render your video;
• Stripe, for payments;
• Google, for sign-in;
• analytics providers that receive anonymous usage data.

We do not sell your personal information.

Your Rights

You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or ask us to delete your account, your photos and your videos by emailing us. We respond within 30 days.

Children

The service is not intended for anyone under 13, and you must not upload photos of minors without a guardian's consent.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
